- January-February 2019
The January meeting on January 12th featured a "Mushrooms...Delicious or Deadly?" program and a Souper Saturday lunch, with officers serving as the first person committee. The December meeting was the lodge's Christmas party, which included a free meal, a White Elephant gift exchange, and music. The annual Norwegian Bake Sale was held on December 15th and was a huge success.

April meetings include a guest night at Lanesboro Lodge on April 4 and a presentation on Norwegian history on May 9. Key events are Flatbread Day on April 27, the May 11 Mollie B show, the May 17 Barnetoget parade, and the May 18 Syttende Mai celebration. Additionally, the lodge is offering $50 scholarships to members' children for the upcoming Norwegian Ridge Language & Culture Camp in June.

May 17 features a Barnetoget (children's parade) with hot dog/lefses provided by the lodge, followed by the May 18 Syttende Mai celebration including a bake sale, boat parade, and various events. The June 13 monthly meeting will feature Joe Morken discussing his trip to Norway, and the lodge promotes its annual Norwegian Ridge Language Camp with member scholarships.

July meetings feature a joint gathering with Westby Lodge on July 25th at the La Crescent Fire Hall for a reenactment and BBQ potluck, followed by an August 8th meeting hosting Winona Lodge at the Heritage Center for a murder mystery program. The Lodge is planning a 90th anniversary celebration for November and encourages members to bring collected Tubfrim stamps or food shelf items to monthly meetings.

The September meeting featured Norwegian woodcarving. The October 5th Kaffe Fest coincided with Uff Da Fest. The Lodge's 90th Anniversary is planned for November 17th, and Sons of Norway will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2020.

Valheim Lodge is commemorating its 90th Anniversary with a special event on Sunday, November 17th, featuring a concert by the Luren Singing Society, a slide show, and a light luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Church, asking members for help and donations. Following this, the Lodge is hosting its annual December Christmas Party on Thursday, December 12th, with a buffet meal and gift exchange, and a Norwegian Bake Sale on Saturday, December 14th.
