Potete Kake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup hot mashed potatoes
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 cups confectioners sugar (for glaze)
- 3 Tbsp boiling water (for glaze)
- 1 tsp vanilla (for glaze)
Instructions
- Put potatoes in mixing bowl. Add butter, sugar, oats and extract. mix until well combined.
- On greased cookie sheet shape dough about size of a dinner plate.
- Bake at 325°F until light brown, for about 45 minutes.
- Let cool and glaze.
- For glaze: Mix confectioners sugar, boiling water, and vanilla.
