Vafler (Norwegian Waffles)

Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- toppings (thin slices of geitost (goat cheese) or sour cream and raspberry jam)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Bake in waffle iron (traditionally in an iron with heart-shaped sections).
- Serve at room temperature with thin slices of geitost (goat cheese) or a dollop of sour cream and raspberry jam.
