Frukt Soup
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz package large pearl tapioca
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup pitted prunes (cut into pieces)
- 1/2 cup sugar (optional)
- 1 cup grape juice
- water (for cooking)
Instructions
- Cook the tapioca in water until transparent.
- Add raisins and prunes. Cook until tender.
- Add sugar (optional), turn off heat, add grape juice.
- Geneva uses 1 12 oz. Welch's Grape Juice Concentrate.
- Frukt suppe is called "Bubble Soup" by Geneva's grandchildren because of the large pearl tapioca.
