Microwave Rømmegrøt
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- melted butter (for serving)
- cinnamon and sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- In 2-quart casserole or dish, melt margarine on high (1 to 1 1/2 minutes).
- Stir in flour, sugar and salt.
- In 4-cup measuring cup, microwave milk on HIGH until hot (4-5 minutes).
- Whisk hot milk into flour mixture; mix until well combined.
- Microwave on HIGH, whisking every 2 minutes, until thickened (8-11 minutes).
- Serve warm with melted butter and cinnamon and sugar.
