Rømmegrøt
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 quarts milk
- 1 pint half & half
- 1/2 cup sugar
- melted butter (for serving)
- sugar and cinnamon (for serving)
Instructions
- Melt butter. Add flour and cook 5 minutes.
- Heat whole milk and half & half to boiling point.
- Add all at once to the flour and butter mixture; bring to a boil.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir frequently to prevent scorching.
- Pour into serving bowl. Pour melted butter on top.
- Serve warm with sugar and cinnamon.
