Rømmegrøt
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 gallon whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
- melted butter and cinnamon and sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat milk in saucepan.
- In a separate pan, melt butter. Add flour, stir with whisk. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Pour in warmed milk, continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
- Stir in sugar and salt.
- Serve warm with melted butter and cinnamon and sugar.
