Rømmegrøt Bars
Ingredients
- 2 rolls Pillsbury Crescent rolls
- 2 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 egg yolk (save the egg white)
- 1 egg white
- 1/3 cup sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Grease 9x13 inch pan.
- Beat together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, & almond extract.
- Press 1 roll of crescent rolls on bottom of pan.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on top.
- Place second roll of rolls on top of mixture.
- Beat egg white until fluffy. Spread over top.
- Mix 1/3 cup sugar & 1/2 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over egg white.
- Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let cool, cut into bars.
