Sandbakkels

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg, unbeaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla or almond extract
- 2 1/3 cups flour
Instructions
- Cream butter and powdered sugar together. Add remaining ingredients.
- Chill dough overnight.
- Form into tins and bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Let cool a minute or two before turning tart pan over on a cooling rack.
- The tart should slide out but sometimes a tap with a spoon on the bottom of pan will loosen.
